YOu are right, Church law requires that one be age 18 minimally, though most ocmmunities prefer that someone wait until they are at least age 21.  One reason is the need for sufficient maturity, so that one understands what they are choosing and also &quot;not&quot; choosing.  One need the ability to reason, discern, and have the skills to live community life, and engage in full time ministry.  Be patient Dionna, if God is calling you, God will pursue you at age 18 or 21 too.  In the meantime, enjoy all the things that you will encounter as you continue to grow and age. And, yes, let&#039;s keep praying for the people in Haiti. Peace, Sr. Pat</description>
