Community
When our congregation was founded in France in the 1820s, it was the first to have sisters stay outside of the cloister walls, to care for the sick and dying in their homes. Nearly two centuries later, Sisters of the Bon Secours continue to adapt and collaborate, bringing their care out into the community to those in need in the United States, Ireland, Peru, France, and Great Britain.
Today in the U.S., we live and serve in nine states: Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia.
