World Day of Prayer for Vocations was a couple of weeks ago, but I want to share this video and ask for your support in praying for vocations to religious life.  I’m sorry I don’t know who developed it (I would otherwise acknowledge them - perhaps the USCCB).  God’s call to live life as a sister has a long tradition. Not many are called, but it is a valid life calling even for today. Life in a convent is not strange – like other vocations its about relationships and living a faith – filled life. Thanks for helping us pray for vocations.

World Day of Prayer for Vocations

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

I hope you are enjoying your day!  I was sure to wear green to avoid being pinched.

I wanted to share with you a traditional Irish blessing (click the picture on the right to view) and a lovely poem as shared by Sister Rose Marie Jasinski, CBS:

May love and laughter light your days,
And warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
            wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
            with joy that long endures.
            May all life’s passing seasons
Bring the best to you and yours!

            Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
