We are so pleased at the end of our second Project: Good Help summer service program.
Our 6 volunteers really made a difference in Baltimore during those hot, summer days. They spent time with children at our Family Resource Center; entertained some characters at Smallwood Summit, a retirement community; and nourished bellies AND souls at My Brother’s Keeper. They GAVE love and compassion to ALL those they met and helped.
What was surprising to all of our volunteers this year, was how life-changing it was for THEM.
This is what is so amazing about God’s grace. In our search for Him, He leads us into the paths of others. Many times, those people play roles in our own lives that help mold and shape who we are. It is like God uses them or works through them to help teach you a lesson or open your eyes to His Creation.
